A Development Portfolio documents and structures the student’s learning process throughout the semester. Unlike an achievement portfolio, which focuses on final outcomes and best work, a development portfolio focuses on the process itself: decisions, difficulties, changes in understanding and lessons drawn from learning experiences.

The Personal Development Plan, based on Personal Hoshin Kanri, helps students design their own development in a purposeful way, drawing on their values, goals and personal capabilities. Built around the PDCA cycle — Plan, Do, Check, Act — and presented in a visual A3 format, it supports not only planning, but also reflection and progress monitoring.
